Local Magician Doc Eason Honored by Prestigious Magic Organization.
The world’s premier magic society, the Magic Circle of London England has bestowed one of its highest honors to local entertainer, Doc Eason as an Honorary Professional member.
In the letter from the president of the Circle: “As someone who is respected by so many of our members, we would love to have you as part of our magical family. You have contributed so much to the world of magic, so we would be honoured to have you as a member. Your visit to The Magic Circle with Ryan is still spoken about by so many who were lucky to be there, and those who attended your masterclass have described it as one of their favourite events at TMC.”
Quoting the awarded Magic Circle Certificate: “Doc Eason, having elevated the standing of Magic as a global performing art and created a new benchmark for excellence and public recognition of the very best that Magic has to offer, has (been) awarded Honorary Member of the Magic Circle.”
Doc Eason has been a magician in Aspen/Snowmass for 45 years. He is known around the world, performs several times a year at the Magic Castle in Hollywood where he has been awarded a significant 6 Magical Arts Academy Awards, as well as featured Magician on covers of many magic publications throughout the decades. Doc will release his book Cocktails and Doc Tales later this summer.
Locally Doc held forth at Snowmass’ Tower Magic bar for nearly three decades, and for the past 17 years, he’s been performing at the Stonebridge Artisan Bar in Snowmass. He continues to perform there every Thursday as well as performing for private parties up and down the valley and beyond.
